Why would Sony buy Take 2 when they get the games anyway? I mean it doesn't make financial sense. Always seems like their style has been to buy medium to small studios and build them up into greatness. Take 2 was built off of the multi-platform market why buy a company and the devalue it? If they were up for sale why not create a bidding war and drive the price up? How do you make your money back in a deal like this?

It plays very similar to Crackdown 1. But the Wrecking Zone multiplayer is really fun. I don't know about the power of the cloud etc but I know a fun game when I play one. The campaign sucks but I don't do campaigns for any games. I almost strictly online multiplayer so Wrecking Zone is right up my alley. The saving grace is going to be the multiplayer.

The game just wasn't that good and the online community for Killzone 2 died off in weeks. For all of Sony's greatness they still can't make a good 1st person shooter to save their life. Now I Ioved SOCOM.

If they are investing in new studios like this it is scary to envision what type of power/specs the next Xbox will have. You don't spend money on artists without giving them one hell of a canvas to paint on. That thing has to be a super beast.
RDR2 is a product of the developers having the time to create a great game. I think that the success of GTAV and GTA online probably bought RDR2 several more years in development.
